Tasks and structure of the Gymnasium
Gymnasion comes from gymnos - ancient Greek
for naked - in the sense of "naked in the Knowledge" on all topics relevant to
the Order. And of course, this "nakedness"
cannot be compensated for by simple years of life, but through so-called "religious
years".
After all, there are definitely Swiss
people under the age of 45 who have been working for a long time or more
intensive examination of the topics relevant to the Order are rich in
knowledge, in contrast to new entrants who may be
older in years, but in terms of years of religious order
belong to the "chivalrous youth".
The Gymnasion, part of the Knights'
Academy, is therefore intended as a kind of basic training and in as a training ground for cadres, but it is by
no means a substitute for the Academy, the Convent or the training courses for
ministers (marshal, administrator, treasurer)!
The tasks of the Gymnasium are to provide
the best possible training in religious structure and Order-related matters, as well as the mediation of of teaching content in relation to philosophical, oenological and historical
dimension of the OEVE.
The Gymnasium is therefore open to all
knightly members of the Gymnasium. In the most diverse branches of the
knightly order and consulates, the director responsible vice-directors in order to
provide training and teaching content of the Gymnasium directly to the Confederates. The legates and commanders also have an important task of the
Gymnasion, namely, the responsibility for the assassal status of their bequest or commandery (e.g. B. by nominating a member of the legate
corresponding to the age of assessor, who: takes care of them.)
